A Man of Family
In December 1939 it was a national headline. Nicholas Dozenberg was arrested in the tiny town of Bend, Oregon. Only a few weeks earlier another big headliner had been Earl Browder, leader of Communist Party, USA, at one time he had used Nicholas Dozenberg’s papers to obtain a passport. It was an interesting time; the 1930′s, when all of the radicals from the 1920′s where finally being rounded up by J. Edgar Hoover and his men.
